Consultation on 2025 to 2026 admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools and co-ordinated admissions scheme

All schools must have admission arrangements that clearly set out how children will be admitted, including the criteria that will be applied if there are more applications than places available at the school.  Admission arrangements are determined by the admission authority which is Westmorland and Furness Council. 

We are currently consulting on the 2025 to 2026 admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools and the co-ordinated admissions scheme.

Consultation will run for six weeks until 11 December 2023. Results from consultation will be known in March 2024.
