Currently, 63% of our Cumbrian Children Looked After (CLA) have identified SEND. The Virtual School works closely with its partners to ensure that any SEND are identified and assessed without drift and delay and that high quality EHCPs are in place when required. Educational Psychologists prioritise the assessment of our children and our SEND Lead attends the EHCP panel whenever our children are being considered for statutory assessment. The PEP and EHCP work in harmony, with the PEP's termly review of educational progress feeding into the EHCP.
