Kendal Day Services requires a Senior Suppport Officer to support the delivery of Day Opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team delivering quality services to Adults with learning Disabilities including those with complex support needs within a day centre and the community settings.
The Role
As a Senior Support Officer you will work closely with the Supervisor to assist in the operation and improvement of the service assist in the development of care programmes plans and activities to support the physical emotional and social needs of individuals. You will also lead teams and support the development of other staff through guidance encouragement and mentoring activity.
You will be required to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders manage risk maintain accurate records (using appropriate ICT systems) and ensure health and safety requirements are met. Our team are passionate about developing and promoting a person-centred quality services for individual service users. About the role
As a Reablement Support Worker your role is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes supporting their recovery after a stay in hospital.
You will get the opportunity to know people individually supporting their recovery and wellbeing providing physical and emotional care whilst assisting them to remain as independent as possible within their own homes ensuring that reablement outcomes are met in accordance with their person centred strength based reablement plan.

Support Worker (Domiciliary/Home Care) - Eden

Hourly Rate: £12.11
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement of £0.72p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate. This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours.
Location(s): Support at Home Service covering Eden
Available Hours: We have a range of shifts available from 0hrs to 36hrs. Support at Home is a 365 day a year 7 day a week 24-hour service. This will include weekend and Bank Holiday rotas. Typically our shifts run between the hours of 7am - 10pm.

Our Domiciliary Service (Home Care) allows people to stay in their own homes. Supporting people in a way which maintains their dignity and empowers them to make choices about how they receive the support required.
About the role
As a Domiciliary Support Worker your role is to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.
You will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. In line with their individual support plan your role will include assisting with medication providing personal care pressure care and palliative care for those nearing end of life.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities. The Overnight Service is an integral part of the wider Support at Home team which supports and enables people to remain within their own home. Always supporting people in a way which maintains their dignity and empowers them to make choices about how they receive the support required.
About the role
As a Night Support Worker you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. This could include support with medication providing personal care nutrition hydration manual handling pressure care and palliative care.
This role involves travelling across the South Lakes and Furness area supporting people within their own homes.
