  • Classic Drive and Ride In Day
    Join lots of proud classic vehicle owners as they bring their private vehicles to display at Lakeland Motor Museum. The event is FREE to all. + Bring your own classic vehicle The event is open to the proud owners of classic cars, trucks, vans and motorbikes as well as more recent hot hatches, superminis and high-performance sports cars. There is no need to book and there is plenty of free parking for owners to display their pride and joy. Participating drivers and their passengers will also receive discount admission vouchers to the museum itself. + No classic vehicle necessary You don't have to own a classic to attend, simply come along and join in and soak up the atmosphere. View the private cars on display, take a visit to the museum or grab some refreshments at the riverside cafe. Everyone is welcome to attend. + Lots to see and do Previous events saw almost 100 cars and motorcycles come together to provide a diverse display of favourite marques

Workshop 2 - Mark making and print - Add designs to fabric by simple mark making and print. Workshop 3 - Improv quilting - Explore cutting and tearing your material, joining it, cutting it and joining it again. Workshop 4 - Building and layering - Develop and add dimension to your art quilt with layers of sheer fabrics, padding and reverse applique.
