  • Tarzan of the Apes
Deep in the African jungle lives a reclusive tribe of apes - the Mangani tribe. Led by Chief Kerchak, the Mangani are the missing link between apes and humans and have been legend for centuries. However, when a shipwrecked baby is left alone in the jungle by the death of his parents, things are about to change. Especially when Kala, the matriarch of the Mangani, adopts the boy as her own and names him Tarzan. Now, in 1912, things are about to change. Tarzan has grown into a young man and is now the protector of his family, but when a group of strangers arrive they threaten everything he knows to be true. Why do these strangers look like him, and do they hold the answers to where he truly belongs? A family show about the importance of conservation and finding your place, based on the Edgar Rice Burroughs series of novels and performed by critically acclaimed youth theatre, Happy Thoughts Drama Company. #embracewhatmakesyoudifferent #findwhereyoubelong
