  • Penrith Pumas Wheelchair Rugby Club (WRC)
    Penrith Pumas WRC is the County's first Wheelchair Rugby Club, the first of its kind. The sport is open to anyone over the age of 16 with or wihtout a physical impairment who want to try a new sport, meet new people and feel part of a team again. You don't need to worry about any equipment as it is all provided. All you have to do it turn up and be prepared to have some fun whilst learning something new.   • Illustrated Art Talks at Carlisle Library - 28 January
    Join us at Carlisle Library during January and February for the third in a new series of illustrated art talks with David A. Cross. David is a writer, lecturer and independent art historian who will be talking on "Silk, Camels and Gothic Spires: Portraits of British Eccentrics," on Tuesday 28th January at 1pm. Tickets are £3, including refreshments, available from Carlisle Library.
  • Sleeping Beauty - The Coro, Ulverston
    Join Ulverston Pantomime Society for their annual PANTO! This January see the wonderful tale of Sleeping Beauty brought to life on the Coro stage. A brilliant and traditional show for all the family. Performance times: 7pm on Wednesday to Friday; 12pm and 4.30pm on Saturday. Tickets: £12 for adults; £10 for children; £40 for a family of 4 [2 adults and 2 children].
