    Join us for an evening of film celebrating adventure from some of the most spectacular places on earth, brought to you by the team behind Kendal Mountain Festival. You'll be guided through a curation of stories from across the globe, told by a unique collection of travellers, athletes, activists and creatives. Through culturally rich, cinematically beautiful and thought-provoking films we'll ask; what is possible in a changing world, what is beautiful, what is wild and what defines adventure? The covid pandemic proved a great stress for the local community and we are aiming to provide an accessible day for all people.   • Green Door Art Trail 2021
    Our Art Trail will return on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September 2021. More than 40 artists based in 23 venues will be opening their doors to the public. Visitors will find a wide range of original art including textiles, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, glass, pastels and mixed media. There will also be those popular small and special treats, including greetings cards. Trail venues can be found across the south of the county from Sedbergh, over to Kendal, down to Milnthorpe and Burton, and then across to Newby Bridge and Ulverston. Group venues are the Athenaeum at Leasgill near Milnthorpe and Space2Create in Kendal. All Trail venues are open on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September and a number are also opening on Friday 24 September. Look out for timings in the catalogue as you plan your route. The route is flat, with places to sit and rest if required, so the walk is suitable for all ages and abilities.
