Come and enjoy Libraries Week with Barrow Library. A celebration of the nation's much loved
libraries. This year we are championing the role of libraries in the digital world. Explore
how libraries are engaging communities through technology, building digital skills and
confidence, encouraging digital participation and inclusion.
Thursday 10 Oct 10-11am Adult Coding Club“ Coding is the future, come along and
have a go at using computer code at coding for adults.
Take part in the fantastic Libraries week competition run by CILIP to build a Lego library of
the future. Take a photo of your LEGO Library, share it on Twitter and tag @LibrariesWeek
#LEGOLibrary and say what is unique about your library of the future. The most innovative
entry will receive tickets to LEGOLAND® Windsor! Plus £500 for your local library.
