Description
Ray Greenhow is an ex-police officer who wrote Britain's First Black Policeman, The Life of John Kent A Police Officer in Cumberland 1835 to 1846. Find out more about the fascinating life of Britain's first black police officer, who was the son of a freed slave and served communities of Maryport and Longtown.
