Sue will teach you the basics of silk painting, using your original designs to create a stunning piece of textile art and some silk painted greetings cards.
You will learn how to plan out your design and transfer this to the silk before learning how to stretch the silk onto a frame and then outline your design with resist paint. While this is drying you can practice using silk paints working on some silk painted greetings cards.
You will learn silk painting techniques so that you will be equipped with the skills to continue this process at home.
