Event: Workington Remembrance Parades

The Town Council helps to organise the marking of Remembrance Sunday in Harrington and Workington. This is done by working in collaboration with local organisations such as the British Legion and the Poppy Appeal. The parades and services take place in both Harrington and Workington.
Schedules for 2019 are:
HARRINGTON SCHEDULE: Leave Harrington Royal British Legion Club at 9.40am and parade to St Mary's Parish Church. 11.15am: Parade arrives back at Harrington Royal British Legion Club.
WORKINGTON SCHEDULE
2pm: Parade leaves Pow Street and arrives at the Cenotaph in Vulcan Park for a short service. Parade then continues to St Michael's Church for a service at 3pm.
