Event: High Hills and Mighty Mountains Activities and Crafts

< Return to calendar
Description
William and Dorothy loved climbing mountains and writing about the amazing things they saw in their poems, journals and travel accounts. Dorothy also climbed Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain, and wrote about it in a letter to a friend (the earlier known account of an ascent of Scafell by a woman!). Join us to learn about their adventures in the hills and make an outdoors diary with space for writing and sketching as you go on your own adventures! FREE event for children aged 4 and over from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm on 2nd August 2019.
