Event: White Rose Classic 2019

< Return to calendar
Description
On Sunday 23 June 2019 - the longest Sunday of the year - the annual White Rose Classic cycling sportive will visit Cumbria. The event features 3 routes:

- Grassington Short Route 48 miles
- Settle Medium Route 85 miles
- Hawes Long Route 120 miles

All routes leave from Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The Hawes Long Route enters Cumbia at Garsdale Head. From there, they climb over Coal Road into Dentdale.

For the first time in 2019 the event turns down Dentdale and then climbs over Deepdale, before leaving Cumbria in Kingsdale, above Ingleton.

All routes are fully signed, with amply-stocked feed stations, roving mechanical and medical support. An after-ride meal is included, and riders can relax at the after-ride party with local beers, ice cream and other treat.
