Used by many prominent printmakers today, discover how to create prints using Collagraph printmaking techniques. In Discover Printmaking With Collagraphs course you will make collages on card plates, explore the simple processes using wet and dry techniques as well as cutting to create your design.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
Plates are created from card using a range of materials including ordinary household items, carborundum, and wood glue as well as direct scratches and cuts. Plates are sealed before printing. Experiment with materials and inking up. Your Tutor will guide you through the process of creating a plate, inking up and printing using the printing press
