Description
Furness Abbey Fellowship welcomes all ages at our 7th Medieval Fair-we have something to suit everyone. Iron Shepherds Living History Group, Trouvere Medieval Minstrels, Brother John and Brother Patrick, Albert Harvey alchemist and traditional crafts including basket making and wood turning can be seen. Abbey Mill Cafe will be hosting their tea tent and Mansergh Farm provide delicious hog roasts. A highlight of the day is the Silverband hawks. Add to this craft stalls, games and a gargoyle trail and you have great family day out. English Heritage members free, Barrow Council Tax payers £2/children free. Usual entry fees apply. Parking at Barrow Sixth Form and Blue Badge holders/drop off only at the abbey car park
