Come and enjoy Libraries Week with Barrow Library. A celebration of the nation's much loved
libraries. This year we are championing the role of libraries in the digital world. Explore
how libraries are engaging communities through technology, building digital skills and
confidence, encouraging digital participation and inclusion. During the week pop in and
explore myGP app, an exciting new development in communicating with your doctor.
Saturday 5 Oct 2-3pm Bookcraft “ Our fun club for children ages 6-11years.
Take part in the fantastic Libraries week competition run by CILIP to build a Lego library of
the future. Take a photo of your LEGO Library, share it on Twitter and tag @LibrariesWeek
#LEGOLibrary and say what is unique about your library of the future. The most innovative
entry will receive tickets to LEGOLAND® Windsor! Plus £500 for your local library.
