Health and wellbeing festival, WellFest, will return for the second time after being hailed a huge success in its inaugural year.
Emma Grunnill, a personal trainer based in Kirkby Lonsdale, launched the festival last summer after taking inspiration from similar events around the UK.
The event, which was the first of its kind in the area, sold out completely. Due to its popularity, Emma has expanded to a larger location, allowing 500 guests to enjoy the festival this year compared to 100 last year.
WellFest takes place on Sunday 7th July, from 10am to 4pm, at Westmorland County Showground. General admission tickets cost £15, and guests can pre-book individual classes for £5.50 each. The event will also raise money for two charities - Mind and Motor Neurone Disease Association.
A host of local health and fitness experts will be running classes, and guests will have the chance to sample a variety of healthy treats from local food and drink brands, as well as talks from guest speaker
