"I have never had any concerns about working in a care home. We haven't had a shortage of PPE at any point, everything is on hand so there is nothing to be frightened of. It felt like one of the safest places to be and it was nice to go out to work and spend time with colleagues." Cathy Lister, Support Worker at Inglewood Residential Home

Your safety is a priority. Our teams have taken all necessary steps and followed national guidance to make sure staff and the people who we care and support for are as protected to the best of our abilities.

  • Everyone working in a frontline role is encouraged to have the COVID-19 vaccine, for those working in care homes it will be a legal requirement to be fully vaccinated unless medically exempt from 11 November 2021
  • Everyone has all of the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)  and training to make sure you can use it safely and effectively. We have good supplies, so there is never any worries about running out or reusing disposable equipment
  • You will be trained in infection control procedures and given advice and support by colleagues
  • We encourage regular testing for our staff and residents
  • Frequent deep cleaning is being carried out
  • We continue to update our working practises in line with infection control and government guidance
