Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service - working with young people
In order to achieve a real reduction in fires, fire related deaths and injuries and the number of young people killed or injured in road traffic collisions, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service has to do more than attend incidents effectively.

- Road Awareness Programme
- Young Firefighters Programme
- FIRES (Fire Intervention Referral Education Scheme)

- Junior Citizens Scheme
- Fire Cadets (Workington Fire Station)
