Cumbria Deaf Association and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service is working closely with the Cumbria Deaf Association in line with the aims of the County Council's theme - Creating safe and secure communities.
Through this collaboration we aim to identify those households where there is someone with a hearing impairment and install an appropriate detector to give warning of a fire. In addition we will undertake a Safe and Well Visit to identify any further risks to the residents.
