Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service - community volunteers - delivery of Safe and Well visits
Community Volunteers are actively involved in Safe and Well Visits throughout rural locations in Cumbria.
Given full training and supported by a suitably qualified person, either a lead volunteer or Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service personnel, our volunteers support people to deal with potential fire hazards in their homes.
They can help design fire escape plans so people know how to react if there is a fire and where applicable, fit 10 year cell powered smoke detectors free of charge.
