There is a key window of opportunity, for children between the ages of 3-5 years, to develop their language and early literacy skills through exploring and sharing books.
Learning to be curious about books and enjoy them at this age is vital. Our book box loans will ensure your setting always has an exciting variety of appealing and age-appropriate books, to fill your book corner and to support your learning themes.
Our book boxes are a wonderful resource and will include:
- Books with repetition, rhythm and rhyme
- Picture books and board books
- Non-fiction books (on themes of your choice)
- "Touch and feel" and interactive books
Our boxes are made to order so feel free to let us know what you would like in your box. Perhaps a selection of story books, themed books or rhyming books? just let us know!
- If your nursery/foundation stage unit is part of a school, you can order your boxes as part of the school's topic/literacy box entitlement.
- If you are a private nursery or other non-maintained setting catering for early years children, you are welcome to order boxes on an ad-hoc basis which will be charged on a pay-as-you-use basis or we can create a subscription package to suit your needs and offer even better value.
