Here at Applethwaite Green, we provide 24 hour residential care within a safe, comfortable and homely environment. Our home is situated in an attractive location of Windermere and is close to the local shops and other community amenities. Our home consists of three units providing communal lounges, separate dining areas with their own kitchenettes. We also provide a quiet space for our residents and their family and friends to enjoy quality time together. Jane Gay is the homes Registered Manager. Applethwaite Green have a dedicated team of trained and qualified staff which include domestics, support workers, supervisors and cooks to help meet our residents needs on a daily basis.
All our staff receive comprehensive training to carry out their roles and responsibilities to enable them to deliver excellent care and support, appropriate to their role.
Families and friends are welcome here at any time; we are not restrictive to any set visiting hours so long as our residents wish to spend time with their visitors.

We have experienced cooks that are qualified in providing healthy and wholesome home cooked food seven days a week for our residents. The cooks can cater for a variety of dietary requirements, likes and dislikes according to the individuals dietary needs. Our menus are devised with the consultation of our residents and meals are served according to the person's preference. Alternative menu choices are available daily. We endeavour to cater for birthdays and special occasions and provide themed meals to coincide with yearly calendar events.
