Care Services Westmorland and Furness - Supported Living

Supported Living empowers vulnerable adults, including people with learning disabilities or complex care needs, to access the personalised support they need to live independently in their own homes in the community.

Completely personalised and flexible support allows people to choose how and when they wish to be supported and gives them control over their own home. Highly experienced and well-trained staff support individuals to achieve their goals and live independently by providing a range of support such as personal care, help with medication, managing bills and budgeting and participating in community activities. Support is available for those who only need a couple of hours a week to those who need 24-hour care.

Supported living allows people to live a fulfilled and enriched life. Staff work with individuals to build life skills and are led by the individuals interests and priorities. Staff are highly trained and experienced and have development opportunities to continue to expand their skills.
