Bridge House is situated in the heart of Flookburgh with a capacity of 38 bedrooms. It has two dementia units and one physically frail, and each unit includes a bathroom/shower room, kitchenette, dining room and communal lounge.
Bridge House boasts a large garden area which is often used for garden parties, and is popular during the warmer months. We provide a warm and homely environment to all, and thoroughly enjoy hosting parties in our large day centre.
At Bridge House we have a wide variety of activities that include:
- Weekly hairdresser visits
- Word searches
- Drawing and colouring
- Baking sessions
- Singalong sessions
- Decoration making
- Jigsaws
- Board games
- Movie nights
- Weekly visits from Pip the pat dog
- Monthly visits to the Senior Community Friendship Club
- Regular visits from the local schools, and also going to the schools for shows and special occasions.
We also encourage our service users to maintain activities and hobbies, that they previously enjoyed and encourage new activities we also have regular trips out.

Our cooks are professionally trained and have years of experience in the catering industry. They take pride in their work and continuously deliver high quality meals. We have a large selection to choose from and are always looking to improve our menu. The home caters to each individuals preferences and are able to provide specialist diets. Our cooks particularly enjoy putting together a buffet for our parties.
