Croftside provides a homely and welcoming environment to our service users, staff, and visitors. The home is made up of 33 bedrooms and has two floors split into three units - Derwent, Coniston and Thirlmere. Two of these units are for the physically frail, and the other is for dementia. Each unit includes a bathroom/shower room, kitchenette, dining room and spacious communal lounge.
Based in the small market town of Milnthorpe, Croftside has numerous links to the local community. We have a large garden, a balcony area, and overlook the River Bela.
At Croftside our wide range of activities, include:
- Weekly hairdresser visits on Wednesdays
- Fortnightly visits from Milnthorpe Primary School
- Armchair exercises
- Hand massages and manicures
- Singalong sessions
- Community Come Dance at MHub (local community centre) every other Thursday
- Bingo
- Crafts
- Reminiscing afternoons
- Visits from local pop up shops
- Slide show presentations with Ron Rutter
- Board games

Our cooks have many years of experience between them and pride their selves on providing high quality meals. The residents have a wide variety to choose from and have a say on what appears on the menu. Ours cooks are able to cater to specialist diets and thoroughly enjoy cooking up something new! Snacks are available to all throughout the day, and freshly baked treats are provided daily.
