The home is single storey, split into four units of ten bedrooms, many of which are ensuite. Each unit has its own fully equipped bathroom/shower room, dining area and lounge. The units also include several separate seating areas and quiet lounges. There is a large front foyer as well as a lovely 50's themed sitting room for all to enjoy.

Here at Elmhurst we offer a wide range of activities to our residents. This includes:

Karen Shepherd, Home Manager -  "I feel privileged to work at Elmhurst with a dedicated team who provide a happy, safe and positive environment for our residents and their families.  Here at Elmhurst we have created a friendly home where residents are encouraged to maintain their interests and hobbies. Friends and family are always welcome and are encouraged to take part in our events in the home and within the local community.  Elmhurst has been recently modernised and provides a very high standard of accommodation with beautiful, easy to access gardens which our residents and our Blooming Marvellous Gardening Club enjoy relaxing and working in."

"I wanted to express my deep gratitude for the loving care you have given Mam since the day she arrived at Elmhurst just over a year ago. It was a very difficult decision for our family to admit residential care was our only option for Mam, for the first 6 months I struggled with my conscience, I really needn't of, I have no doubts whatsoever that it was the right decision and thank our lucky stars every day that there was a place available for Mam in our first choice home, Elmhurst."

"The staff are like family to me, they are so kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble"

"I love living here because the staff are so friendly, it's like one big happy family"

"There's lots to do and the staff do lots of activities with us. We love the armchair exercise zoom calls with the rugby team and planting in the garden"

"All the staff are always so friendly and helpful... knowing he is happy and being well cared for is reassuring."
