Age range of audience: Age 7 to 18+
Katie Hale is a Cumbria-based poet and novelist, whose work has been translated into multiple languages, and has won and been shortlisted for numerous awards. Since 2013, she has delivered writing workshops for young people and adults across the country, for organisations including the Barbican, New Writing North and the Wordsworth Trust.
Katie is happy to work with whole classes or selected groups, in a single lesson or across multiple sessions, and can either provide workshop theme suggestions or adapt to class project topics. She is trained to deliver Arts Award at Discover and Explore level.
